About Me!

Maya Gengozian is a multi-hyphenate creative based in New York City.
She recently earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Musical Theatre from NYU’s Steinhardt School, with a minor in Print/Online Journalism from the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute.
Maya fell in love with producing for theater from spending two years as the President and Lead Producer of NYU Steinhardt’s West 4th Stage Company, a premier performance club specifically targeting students who deserve more meaningful and educational performance opportunities. Her producing credits include Jesus Christ Superstar (directed by Taylor Haven Holt), Ordinary Days (directed by Taylor Haven Holt and music directed by Aidan S. Wells), as well as two play festivals for new, student-written works.
As a writer, Maya spent August 2022 to May 2023 as an Editorial Intern with The Story Exchange, a nonprofit media publication dedicated to highlighting entrepreneurial and inspirational women. She also spent a year as the Editor-in-Chief of Her Campus NYU. For her journalism minor at NYU, she took both print and multimedia courses, including writing social justice, writing activism & politics, audio storytelling & podcasting, photojournalism, analyzing women in media and broadcast & video journalism.
As of September 2024, Maya will be taking over as Social Media Manager for Crow and Wolf Brewing Company in Clovis, CA. She is also an Assistant for Riverbend Creative. She is assisting the company with their new venture in Public Relations - currently representing HAMILTON on Broadway's Morgan Anita Wood - and Event Consulting services. 

Maya is an avid consumer of all things entertainment — she loves seeing live theater, watching movies & television, reading thriller and contemporary fiction novels, listening to music and playing board games. In addition to entertainment, Maya loves exploring NYC and spending time with her cat, Emma.
